About

Dan Cutchen composer and teacher

Dan holds a B.A and a Master of Music degree in Music Theory and Composition.  He has produced or co-produced over 50 full-scale and demo music projects for both secular and sacred musicians.

His experience as a composer and arranger is varied and extensive.  Dan serves as adjunct professor of Music Theory and Composition for Dallas Baptist University.

He has written for concert band, wind ensemble, choir, jazz band, brass choir and other small and large scale music productions.  As a composer, musician, and worship leader, Dan has sought to use his talents and training to the glory of Jesus Christ.

Your heart will be touched as you witness Moses transform from a fugitive to a servant of God.  The book of Revelation is highlighted when the Apostle John leads a congregation in worship as he shares with them some of "the Vision" he had while on Patmos Island.

Many lives have been changed as Dan and Joy lead in worship with one of their original songs or arrangement of hymns.  And Dan’s praise songs like the Latin number, “Yes, I Know (Si, yo se’) ” can get your blood pumping with God’s praises!

Dan has had an effective ministry in the preaching of God's Word for many years.  He served in pastoral ministry for over fifteen years as Minister of Music, Minister of Youth and Christian Education, Associate Pastor and Senior Pastor.  Dan is an ordained minister through the Southern Baptist Convention and has traveled full-time as a music evangelist since 1993.

The primary mission of the Future Hope Ministries is to use their music and creative communication to help adults, teenagers and children find a common ground to celebrate God’s works and character and to worship Jesus Christ.

Dan Cutchen and crew love being with children. They love being with teens. They love being with adults. But their deepest delight is when people experience the joy of the Lord and a deeper commitment to Christ…as all ages together!

(Psalm 148:11, 12)

We are called to a ministry, “…’to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,’ and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” (Luke 1:17)

Revivals and special meetings entail music, drama, humor and clear, Spirit-led preaching from God’s Word to encourage and challenge young and old alike!  We have resources designed to minister to all ages in a fun and interactive way.  We gear our programs and resources with the goal of connecting people of all ages together in ministry, celebration, discipleship/mentoring and fellowship.

The greatest pleasure for Dan and Joy is to see young and old making godly changes and for lost people to find Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

Their interactive music concerts involve a variety of styles to fit the type of crowd: lively, funny, meditative, interactive and worshipful all could describe a typical time with Dan Cutchen and crew. They like to include something for everyone and all for the glory of God!
